I feel great in Phase 3

I wanted to keep posting and make sure you all keep reading. We are in Phase 3 and I feel great. I can tell you this. Phase 3 is much harder than Phase 2. The choices you have are much wider and you have to stabilize vs. just lose weight. The losing weight was the easy part. Finding out how much you can eat without the hCG in your system is a little bit of a black art. But I enjoy food so much more now.

I can’t tell you how good food taste and how much I look forward to eating good food. I have little to no urge to eat fast food and have made sure I eat what I want as long as it’s on Phase 3. Eggs are my new best-est friend.

I am also working on coaching a few people on the Phase 2 part now and in the next few weeks. My weight loss has inspired others to want the same.  I am heading in the right direction. I  feel good all day long and can’t tell you how eager I am to get off the last 30 pounds in the next round. Plus I am faster in my go-kart and another 30 pounds is going to make me that much faster. I can’t wait.

Getting started with hCG protocol

At work I spend time now explaining my weight lose when I have time, an to make it easy I have just emailed out the same links to get people reading and understanding how “Pounds & Inches” works.

There are lots of diets out there right now and I have tried at least 4 of the most popular ones and none of them work. It’s not to say that the one I am on right now will work for you either but the most important part about the Protocol is that is “RESETS” your thinking and it “RESETS” you hypothalamus. No other diet out there takes any of this into consideration.  The second part to this protocol is that is high reward factor. In 28 days you could lose as much as 20 – 32 pound of body fat!

Count back 28 days from right now and think you could be 30 pounds liter now. The down side to the diet is, for you cheaters t there, if you do cheat you will pay dearly. Cheating is not allowed. On the protocol you have to get on the scale every morning and if you cheated the day before you will see it in the numbers. Even so much as a nut or the wrong kind of dressing for salad.  The flip side is you only have to be good for 28 days.

Last day of 500 Calories

Today is the last day of Phase 2, last day of 500 calories too. The weight from yesterday and today are about the same. Which is perfect, I think? I think I have my lock in weight and am 100% ready for Phase 3. I will post the pictures of Phase 2 on Saturday. Have a nice Friday y’all!

GOAL! 30.2 POUNDS!

Today I weighed in and I reached my goal. 30.2 pounds. I have something blocked in the pipes if you know what I mean. So I am super happy today. I have on clothes that I have not worn in 10 years and look brand new.

We start Phase 3 on Saturday. Kelly mentioned that she wanted to take a trip she has been planning and then go back to P2 and get this last 20+ pounds off.

Again this is a hard diet to do for anything longer than 4 weeks but the reward is huge. Now it’s time to start thinking about stabilizing and getting the formula right to hold my weight.

Last day of hCG

Today is the last day we take hCG and start to think about Phase 3. I don’t know what the next 72 hours will hold but I am going to stay strong and keep pushing. Today I am 219 pounds and feeling great. I wanted to get to 218 so it would be an even 30 pounds but we will see. I still have a few more days. The directions say we should use today’s weight but there are some factors that would keep me from using today’s weight and let you know what happens.

I work in an office like most people in IT. Seems there is temptation everywhere and today my “MARCH ENEMY” showed up.

Note: My son Gino when he was little said “MARCH ENEMY” instead of ARCH ENEMY. It’s still funny.

They have a training class and they had Chick-fil-A brought in. That is my weakness. I know now I am not strong enough to go there yet. I also know I that it’s not good for you even the wraps. They are full of things we could all live without. So today I faced my MARCH ENEMY head on, ten feet from my desk and I won. To make matters worse I was doing an apple day to break a stall. So I know I am double strong for it…I hope!

Clothes Fitting

It’s something that has been a huge reward. There is a section of my closet that has been sitting there quietly waiting for me. I had convinced myself that being overweight was OK somehow. But at the same time I was miserable.

I lived in Japan from 93-96 and when I lived there I did some shopping in the Sasebo ginza and while I would never admit to some of the prices I paid for things I have a long sleeve Tommy Hilfiger shirt that cost about $100 USD. It was a silly purpose, but for that reason it still one of those items in my closet. Last night I put it on and it fit. Not like it did in 94 when i purchased it, but I could get it on and it was not snug. Jeans are another item. I have a few pairs of jeans that I have never been able to wear. They are comfortable now. I just need to break them in.

The upside is right now I am down some 27 pounds and feeling a whole lot better. This diet is rewarding and at the same time a huge pain the you know where. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter and this weekend we start phase 3 getting closer to being back to normal.
