Today is the start of my second round of hCG for me and Kelly. We have two load days, then back to VLCD and losing about a pound a day for the next 30 days. I have said before I want to drop another solid 30+ pounds this round and I am going to do it. I have can get more I will take it. I know what I am in for this time so it should be pretty easy.

Back on Phase 2 this weekend

We are back for our second round of hCG and VLCD this weekend. It’s a load weekend and I am going to do it up like a professional loader!
This next round I am looking for a solid 30+ pounds again. Kelly is looking for the same as well. If I reach my goal I will be under 185 and that has not been the case since high school. (1988 or 1990). That would be amazing.
After this next round I have been promised I can go shopping for new clothes too. That is a good reason to be excited too. I would encourage all of you out there to post comments so we can help each other out.

I have shared my success with the diet with people at work. Hell it’s hard to walk around now without someone asking me where I have disappeared too? A few of those brave souls have purchased hCG and jumped in with both feet. I am not going to disclose the names of the people but would like to report the weigh lose so you know how great this is.
Male 1 -Over 31 pounds in 40 days
Female 1 – Over 23 Pounds in 20 days
Female 2 – Over 17 Pounds in 14 days
Female 3 – Over 13 pounds in 8 days
There is another guy that I found out later was doing hCG without ever talking to me. He has lost over 25 pounds last I talked to him.
This really does work. It really is good and you are not as dependent on food as you were before you start. All it takes is a little bit of will power! For those need hCG and stabilize, you know who you are, stop messing around and just do it.
Phase 2 here I come…. AGAIN!

So the countdown starts to Phase 2 again. This weekend I will start my LOAD and then Phase 2 VLCD for the next 28 days. I have another 30 pounds to shed and I want to get it over with and go clothes shopping. I have a bunch of clothes that were a bit big at my heaviest but had to be large in areas to fit me and my almost 250 pounds of fat ass. Now some 30 pounds lighter I am in clothes I have not worn comfortably in years. But the problem is all my nice office clothes are now way to big for me. So rather than wait I am going to get it over with and drop the last 30.
Right now I am holding at 216(+-2), and feel great. The government says I should weight no more than 178 and I think they are nuts but would love to get close to that weight.
The weekends are still the hardest for both of us as we get busy and forget to eat and drink enough water. It’s no excuse but it happens. I am building a short list of crap to load on this weekend. I am going to load up like I want and be a pig about it.
I want to do Phase 2 again and drop the last 30, that would take me from 216 to 186. I can honestly tell you even after 14 weeks of Naval Boot Camp in 1993 I didn’t weight less than 190. Anything in the 180s would be High School weight. That would be amazing!
Getting started with hCG protocol

At work I spend time now explaining my weight lose when I have time, an to make it easy I have just emailed out the same links to get people reading and understanding how “Pounds & Inches” works.
There are lots of diets out there right now and I have tried at least 4 of the most popular ones and none of them work. It’s not to say that the one I am on right now will work for you either but the most important part about the Protocol is that is “RESETS” your thinking and it “RESETS” you hypothalamus. No other diet out there takes any of this into consideration. The second part to this protocol is that is high reward factor. In 28 days you could lose as much as 20 – 32 pound of body fat!
Count back 28 days from right now and think you could be 30 pounds liter now. The down side to the diet is, for you cheaters t there, if you do cheat you will pay dearly. Cheating is not allowed. On the protocol you have to get on the scale every morning and if you cheated the day before you will see it in the numbers. Even so much as a nut or the wrong kind of dressing for salad. The flip side is you only have to be good for 28 days.

Today is the last day we take hCG and start to think about Phase 3. I don’t know what the next 72 hours will hold but I am going to stay strong and keep pushing. Today I am 219 pounds and feeling great. I wanted to get to 218 so it would be an even 30 pounds but we will see. I still have a few more days. The directions say we should use today’s weight but there are some factors that would keep me from using today’s weight and let you know what happens.
Weight Loss Update – David Vasta

So the weight has not been coming off as fast as the first two weeks. I am hoping to get a total 30 pound loss out of this. Right now I have lost 27.5 pounds and I am pretty happy with that number. Only 2.5 to go to 30 and that will get be below 220 for the first time in years. I think one more round of hCG will be in order to drop the last 20 but we are going to wait until later this summer to try that. We have a busy next couple of months so it’s time to get back to normal. Phase three starts Saturday.
Final Week Update -Phase 2

This week starts our last week on Phase 2. We will spray for the last time on Wednesday (PS Mom – I can still spell WED -NESS- DAY the way you taught me. It makes me laugh every time I spell it because I can recall that spelling word and I got that right on the spelling test, as we work with Gino on his spelling. Sorry all.) AM and will start Phase 3 on Saturday AM. Can’t wait for a nice big breakfast with eggs and bacon! BACON!
Last week was not as hard as the first 2 but we hit another little issue. The food has gotten BORING! I get the “piss shivers” now every time I eat anything with the Apple Vinegar on it and I really have started to hate lettuce, with a passion. Almost to the point where I could skip a meal if I didn’t have to eat it. I felt like a kid yesterday trying to avoid it at all cost. That aside we got creative over the weekend with food and started trying to mix it up a bit. Sadly there is only so much you can do with it.
So the first two weeks I know I wanted to just break down and go get some fast food or something nasty that would have “comforted me”. The second week you kind of settle in and get the hang of things, but you still crave and food in the US is everywhere. No wonder we are fat. The third week for me was pretty easy, but over the weekend I just started hating all the food we were eating. I mean all of it. So I want this week to fly by so I can get it over with.
The upside is we read online that eggs in small quantities are OK. So yesterday morning we broke down and poached an egg each and I put mine over garlic Melba Toast and it was extraordinary!
The last bit of info that is so so important is the 500 Calories. The first week you are counting and I thought I was doing well, then I stopped keeping track only to have Kelly figure out on Sunday that we were not eating as much as we should. Bad bad bad. So we ran the figures again and started adding something, the the egg and toast to get us closer to 500. Learn my my mistake and track is all day everyday. Sadly many of the sites that will help you track what you are eating get bitchy about you only eating 500 calories. I think I am going to build an HCG tracking site for people on the diet and sell a subscription to it for about $5 a month. I can see an iPhone app there too….

I have been getting loads of questions at work and via email about my 17 pounds. Yes today I am 17 pounds lighter than I was 13 days ago. Keep in mind two of those days I was loading.
With all the questions comes answer and with each day I learn something new about the diet. Here are some of my thoughts on the protocol now about half way into our 28 days. I am posting these and have made some small additions as I learn more. This is a living post and will be updated as I find out more. There is a lot of info out there on this diet and it’s all very confusing. I hope this gives you a start point to get going and understand the issues and complications.
For the record. This list was also built to help me. I stink at my personal life. I stink at planning ahead at home and I stink at sticking to a diet. So if I can do it anyone can. It’s a one day at a time thing for me.
